company or organization
Companies and organizations often have the desire to stimulate optimal and sustainable functioning. Focusing on the well-being of employees results in higher involvement, better performance and lower absenteeism. What's the Metta supports this process, where the starting point of the approach is positivity. We look at what is already good and how it can be used to improve other areas. This increases the strength and resilience of people and organizations.

The intention and willingness to invest is there, but what else is necessary and where do you start? Or perhaps it is time for a follow-up plan, such as coaching programs, (MBSR) training and after care? In both cases I can serve as a discussion partner, draw up a tailor-made plan or concretize next steps, depending on need. Nothing is too small or too big. I have an extensive network of professionals with whom I work, so that I can provide the expertise needed (e.g. HR (change) specialist, stress & burnout coach, energetic coach, leadership development coach, vitality coach, etc.).

Mindfulness (MBSR) - training
In life it can sometimes feel like you are swimming against the current or that you are being dragged along by it. That feeling is probably recognizable, but what is the best thing to do at times like that?

This statement by Jon Kabat-Zinn, the creator of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a nice metaphor for what this training can offer you: insights and tools to deal more consciously with the peaks and valleys of life, stress, but also to enjoy everyday moments in our lives more consciously. is also full of it.
MBSR was introduced in 1979 by Kabat-Zinn and was the precursor and basis of Mindfulness training in the West. The MBSR training has been extensively clinically researched and is now widely accepted as a proven method for dealing with stress differently (more consciously).
In short, it comes down to a training for your mind. It is similar to what we often do for our body. Practicing sports or training to improve physical fitness and muscle strength, or practicing yoga to develop flexibility, balance and strength . Similarly you can also train your mind, with the effect that you experience less stress and more resilience, awareness and peace in the here and now. What these forms of training also have in common: they require motivation, perseverance and practice to become more skilled.
Positive psychology - coaching
Positive psychology is a relatively young and fast-growing movement within psychology, focused on well-being and optimal functioning.
The focus is on strengthening your possibilities to live a pleasant, good and meaningful life, with positive relationships and to achieve something in life. In short: you focus primarily on strengths instead of complaints. After all, the absence of 'disease' is no guarantee of a feeling of well-being or happiness. Positive psychology recognizes this and emphasizes how strengths can be discovered and utilized. In addition, the focus is on strengthening positive relationships and emotions, with the aim of optimal and sustainable functioning.

Positive psychology is an empirical science, continuous research is being conducted into the effectiveness of its applications.
